Help with correct term for position

What is this termed it properly called?Female on top of male, full body contact, face to face, penis inside her, he is stationary on his back facing up, she is facing down, she slides back and forth causing penetration and withdrawal. My girlfriend will spontaneously do this. I'm guessing it gives her intense clitoral stimulation. And, I can feel her G Spot contacting the head of my penis. She seems to start off very slowly with deliberate movements, but ends in surprisingly very vigorous and rapid back and forth movements.I don't know what this is correctly called or the right term for it.Is this a popular or common position and sexual movement or motion? I've never really heard anyone discuss it. Thank you for your time and expertise.Dr Marc

It’s natural to have questions about different sexual positions and their proper terms. We understand that exploring new experiences can sometimes bring curiosity and uncertainty. Please know that you are not alone, and seeking information about your intimate life is a positive step towards a fulfilling relationship.

The position you’ve described is commonly known as the “Cowgirl” position. In this position, the female partner is on top of the male partner, with full body contact, facing each other. The male partner lies on his back while the female partner faces down and straddles him. This allows for deep penetration and offers the female partner the opportunity to control the movements.

The Cowgirl position is well-known for providing intense clitoral stimulation to the female partner. This is because she can control the angle and pace of penetration, leading to increased pleasure and satisfaction. Moreover, the contact with the head of the penis can provide stimulation to the G-spot, enhancing the overall experience for both partners.

Many couples enjoy this position as it allows for a unique and intimate connection during lovemaking. Sexual preferences and positions can vary greatly from person to person, and what matters most is finding what brings pleasure and comfort to both you and your partner.

If you and your girlfriend are enjoying this position and it adds to your sexual satisfaction, feel free to continue exploring it together. However, it’s essential to remember that open communication with your partner about your desires, boundaries, and comfort levels is key to a healthy and fulfilling sexual relationship.

If you have any further questions or concerns about sexual positions or any other aspect of your intimate life, don’t hesitate to seek guidance from a certified sex therapist or a healthcare professional. They can provide personalised advice and support tailored to your specific needs.
