Dr. Niva Jacob has done her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam and DNB Psychiatry from Spandana Nursing Home, Bangalore. She has done a certified course on SexualHealth for Mental health professionals by Allo Health and also a certified course on clinical psychology by Medvarsity. Her areas of interest include sexual health and relationships. She is a queer affirmative mental health practitioner.
Sexual health has always been a stigmatized topic. I would like to destigmatize it by providing a non-judgemental space for the people to talk about it. People should be made more aware about the facts regarding sexual health and make their lives content and distress free. I am queer affirmative and my motto is to let people talk about sexual health and deal with it like any other health concern.
